The Villages Photography Club met on April 2,, 2008 at La Hacienda. The meeting was called to order by Bob Athanasiou. He led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. The treasurer, Paul Nistico reported we have $1,558.43 on hand.

Our Ten Minute Tech Talk today by Arne was about a website DPReview.com. This website is the best for helping to chose a new digital camera.. Next meeting the 10 minute Tech Talk will be Photo Editing using Picasa.

The Topics committee will present the Contest Topics for next year at the next meeting.

Loretta reported that we now have 69 paid members

Eileen Sklon gave a great presentation on Understanding Exposure

We talked about having our final meeting as a luncheon at “Little Bits”. Bob is going to talk to Bill Tharp about making the arrangements. The members thought we should have a Photographers Choice Contest at the luncheon.
