Minutes 5/6/2009

The Villages Photography Club met at LaHacienda on Wednesday, May 20,2009.  We were led in the pledge of allegiance by Helene Scharaldi. President Arne Thesen conducted the meeting and called on the various department heads for reports.  Paul Nistico, treasurer, reported we have $1,312.92 on hand.

Helene thanks everyone for bringing in dry foods

Paul  Nistico will store the lightbox and picture stand for the summer.  Alan Parker will be in charge of arranging meetings or field trips over the summer

Diane Pattie has arranged our end of year party  for May 20th at 3:00 at Little Bits Café.  The food is great and the company even better! Thanks to Diane for her hard work.

Arne would like to hold the meetings from 12 to 3, with the first hour being a social time.  The idea was well received. The Villages Photo Club will be meeting in Chatham Rec Center from September to December due to construction.

We have started a Club Roster, if you didn’t give me your e-mail address please contact Eileen Sklon

A 10 minute Tech Talk on Barb A’s “Out of the Box” technique was great. It was very well received and the info will be posted on the website. A program on CaptureNX2 was given by Bob Athanasiou. It was very interesting
