The Villages Photography Club provides a fantastic avenue for social interaction, allowing you to connect with like-minded individuals, share tips, and embark on photographic adventures together. The mission of the club is to provide members a variety of ways to improve their photography skills and share their photography talents.

Taking up photography in retirement isn't just about snapping pictures; it's about enriching your life. It's a journey of creative expression, cognitive stimulation, gentle activity, and meaningful connection, offering a truly fulfilling way to embrace your golden years

The Villages Photography Club takes great pride in being a “learning club”. We have members of all skill levels and would love to assist you on a magical, mystical journey from taking pictures to making art. This involves the technical aspects of getting things right in the camera (or cell phone), crafting a snapshot into a photograph and making works of art using different editing processes. Expensive cameras are not required and a growing percentage of members only use their cell phones.

The club offers informative presentations, mentoring sessions, field trips and photo critiques to aid in the development of photography skills no matter where you are in this journey.

If you are an experienced or professional photographer and love to share your talents, you will have plenty of opportunity to share and teach.

The club is open to anyone who is a Villages resident. Formal meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from September through May. Informal summer sessions are also held from June through August.

Come to a scheduled meeting to check us out. Dues are less than $20.00 per year. We meet at the Rohan Recreational Center - 850 Kristine Way in The Villages.

The doors open at noon and the meetings start at 12:30 PM.
